PERU 1747 8 ESCUDOS JEWELRY PENDANT SHIPWRECK TREASURE PIRATE GOLD COINS WOW!!! This incredible detailed Peruvian 8 Escudos, struck in 1747, is breathtaking! Set in 18kt Gold Pendant by S&S (Smith and Smith) from the Cayman Islands, has incredible workmanship and details throughout the Bezel and Bail. It has a large bail sure to hold whatever Pirate Chain (this Chain not included, but you can purchase it, it's 14kt gold rope, approx. 20") you hang it from. What's always attracted Collectors on the Peruvian Cobs, especially on the later years, is the BRUTE style Castles and Lions (especially the Castles), with the wide windows and doors. Mostly sought after however for the Extra Thick Crosses. This piece is very masculine and sure to please all Collectors! It weighs approx. 42gms total and measures out at 34mm. One of the nicest pieces we've ever offered in over 20 years!
